It is 7 o’clock and your wife is still sleeping. Some minutes later she wakes up and prepares herself to go to her office. You want to have breakfast but she doesn’t prepare it for you because she is busy. At noon, your wife is still in her office so you are alone in your home and you do domestic affair. Is it in your mind when thinking about marrying a career woman? If so, you are totally wrong. Poor you if you believe the stereotype that marrying a career woman means losing family.
You may have ever heard or often hear about divorce caused by the wife who is a career woman cannot split time between career and family. But, it is one in million. You don’t need to worry to marry a career woman. If you have a deal with her before your marriage, everything will be fine. What deal? It is a deal between you and her about job. If your spouse wants career in her life even after the marriage, you have to accept it. Instead, you can give her a condition. For example, you allow her have a job but it is a job which does not spend so much time that your wife-to-be can split her time for career and family properly.
If your spouse is a busy woman and she won’t quit her job, it is up to you whether you are OK with that or you have to find another solution. If she is willing to, you can find her another job which is more tolerant. If she insists to be a career woman, well you don’t have any other choice but accept her the way she is. About household matter, you can hire a maid to help you and your wife do house duty such as cleaning the house, washing, etc. you can also hire a baby sitter for your baby later. This will make everything easier.
