DIRECTOR, CAMPUS CLIMATE NEUTRAL

Nick Battista
Roger Williams University College of Law

Nick grew up in Maine and spent a lot of time in the woods and on ponds. Walking in the woods with my grandfather taught me a lot about how important it is to protect the environment. As much as I love the woods, I love the coast even more, especially estuaries and islands. I started sea kayaking about 10 years ago and since then have spent a lot of time on the water. I went to Colby College in Waterville, Maine and studied Philosophy and Science Technology and Society. After taking a year off to work at a mapping company and in a boat yard I am a second year at Roger Williams University in a joint degree program for a JD and will be starting a Masters of Marine Affairs from University of Rhode Island in the fall of 2008.
