Jay Heeter has been involved
with environmental work since graduating from Duke University in
2002. He spent two years after college organizing around the country
with Green Corps, Alaska Coalition, Grassroots Campaigns and the
Fund for Public Interest Research. He spent another two years in
Telluride, Colorado, teaching skiing, waiting tables and volunteering
and consulting on a handful of political campaigns.

Meryl Raymar
first caught the environmental bug while rock hunting in the magnificent
Beartooth Mountains at age 9. She has since worked on environmental
issues in a number of settings, including in the government, academic,
scientific and non-profit arenas. After graduating from Princeton
University with a degree in Geosciences and a certificate in Environmental
Studies, she spent a year and a half at The Wilderness Society in
Washington, D.C. working on public lands issues before attending
law school.
