Golden Gate University School of Law's Environmental Law and Justice Clinic
Open to students from all law schools in the Summer of 2004, beginning June 1. Golden Gate established the Clinic in 1994 to train law students through practical skills training and in recognition of a growing body of evidence that low-income communities, particularly communities of color, face disproportionate impacts from environmental hazards. The Clinic meets its twin goals of teaching and promoting environmental justice by providing legal services and education to communities disproportionately impacted by pollution. The Clinic's many accomplishments have been nationally recognized.
