Genetically Engineered Crops

Liability and Genetically Engineered Crops

Project Description:

Genetically engineered crops pose risks to human health and the environment, but increasingly they are proving a risk to corporate profits. Food companies have already been burned by massive recalls, farmers are concerned about genetic drift, and the courts are starting to hear more cases
about who is responsible for genetically engineered mishaps. This research project will review questions of liability and genetically engineered crops.
