Start Your Own Environmental Law Society

Many schools across the country still have no environmental law student group. Often the interest is there but students don't know how to gather members, found a new law school group, put together a budget, set up a group structure, and the other administrative tasks involved.

NAELS has developed a brief How-To Guide and filled this section of the website with other resources. Using these tips and resources you will learn how to register with your law school, create a mission and bylaws, gather students, and plan events and projects. Students can also tap into the large student network that NAELS assembled for support and guidance. Good luck!
