Lewis and Clark Law School hosted the 2004 NAELS annual conference March 26-28, 2004. The theme of the conference was "Public Lands Management at the Crossroads: Balancing Interests in the 21st Century". Fomer Forest Service Chief Mike Dombeck delivered the keynote address. Rob Glicksman and George Coggins, Jan Laitos, Joe Feller, Michael Blumm, and Sandra Zellmer presented papers on various public lands issues.
