SUMMARY: NAELS is working with students at the Kelly Business School, the School of Public and Environmental Administration, and the School of Law at the University of Indiana - Bloomington to design a multidisciplinary series of research projects. The goal of the projects will be to develop feasibility studies and action plans for different paths to reducing, and then offseting, all of IU-B's annual GHG emissions.

As part of the SPEA Ruckelshaus event on the 19th & Earth Week events, students from the University of Indiana - Bloomington Law School's Environmental Law Society and SPEA students hosted Dan Worth, from the National Association of Environmental Law Societies (NAELS), and leading professors from the IU community, to come to speak at SPEA on April 17 from 4-5:30 in the school's Atrium.

Dan's talk "Changing the Campus Climate", focused on the role of the next generation, particularly graduate students, in finding multidisciplinary solutions to climate change and other environmental problems. Dan was joined by expert SPEA professors Kenneth Richards & NAELS Governing Board member, and NAELS guru, Denise Walker.
