PAST UNIVERSITY COMMITMENTS

  • California State University will reduce energy consumption by 15% by 2004 (from Climate Campaign website)
  • Stanford University will “meet or beat” the Kyoto protocol target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions of by 7% below 1990 levels by 2007.(from Climate Campaign website)
  • The University of California system just made a huge commitment, buying 10 megawatts of solar power for the system increasing by 20% nationwide solar energy generation.(from Climate Campaign website)
