* Note on Climate Neutrality: Climate Neutrality is a concept that has gained popularity through the work of the Climate Neutral Network (CNN) since 1999, a study performed by RMI in 2000, and various events, products, and services since then. According to the CNN, something is climate neutral if it is "determined to have little or no effect on the Earth's climate." Some have argued that real climate neutrality is impossible to achieve and that we should redefine the term or shoot for a more realistic goal. Some have criticized the use of offsets as an effective way to reduce manmade global warming impacts. In the context of this project, to "Go Climate Neutral" is to eliminate or offset all GHG emissions associated with human activities that lead to a majority of GHG emissions (residential heating and electricity and auto transport). The term "Climate Neutral" is the Ttrademark property of the Climate Neutral Network.
