ABOUT Leadership History

NAELS
Board of Directors Mr. Medina owns and is the principal attorney for the Nonprofit Law Group, a small law firm that provides reasonably-priced legal services to nonprofit organizations. Mr. Medina also acts as the Executive Director of a nonprofit wildlife protection organization located on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Prior to these endeavors, he worked as an associate attorney at Foster Pepper & Shefelman PLLC in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Medina previously served as the Chair of the year 2000 NAELS conference, the Treasurer of NAELS (2000-01), the Chair of the Governing Board Newsletter Committee (2000-01), and a member of the Governing Board (2000-01). Currently, he is NAELS' Treasurer and serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to law school, he served for two years in the Peace Corps in Africa. Mr. Medina received his J.D. from Stanford
Law School in 2001 and a B.A. from Carleton College in environmental
studies in 1996.
